Founded back in 1996 by James Laderman & Salvador Plana from Polygon (orginally a demoscene group), both as computer enthusiasts and heavily involved in the promotion of electronic music mainly as event organiser and music producers they starting to use Real Player streaming technology to start streaming live dj and festival live on the Internet and were sponsored at the time Spain's main telephone operator Telefonica (now Movistar) to help them lay double ISDN connections to connect the streaming platform to the Internet, much before ADSL and Fibre Optics were available to be used at multiple venues and events.

Raveface Online DJ Radio (it's original name) became very quickly one of the first streaming platforms to distribute live DJ sessions on the Internet to a worldwide audience with special events and shows distributed and recorded live on a daily basis running 24 hours a day.

It was started in the town of Estepona on the Costa del Sol in Southern part of Spain near Marbella (Malaga) where the rave and electronic music party scene was very vanguard at the time, hosting some of the biggest rave-parties and festivals in the World, with brands such as Satisfaxion and Natural organising some of the largest events at the time inviting the best National & International Dj's & Artists.

It had it's own dedicated studio for DJ's and Artists to visit and play live sessions to their audience, share ideas and promote their musical careers.

We have linked youtube videos to some of the events on our website for you to visit in our video gallery section.
